A new low slope flat roof system for a Clearwater property, where an aging membrane had started to pond water and leak at the seams.
The project
Flat and low slope roofs live or die by drainage and seam quality, and this one had given up on both. The owner needed a watertight system that could take the Clearwater sun and heavy summer rain.
What we did
- Removed the failed membrane and inspected the decking and drainage.
- Corrected low spots so water sheds instead of ponding.
- Installed a new flat roof system with fully sealed, heat welded seams.
- Detailed all edges, drains, and penetrations to keep water out for the long haul.
The result
A clean, watertight low slope roof built to handle Florida weather, with the option of a reflective roof coating down the road to add even more life and cut cooling costs.
