First the storm. Then us.

Hurricane season runs June to November, and every one of those months can throw high wind, wind-driven rain, and flying debris at the roofs of Tampa Bay. When the storm passes, the morning after belongs to our tarp crews, and to the homeowners who knew which number to call. Free inspection, and clear documentation of what the storm did.

If water is coming in as you read this

Move valuables, set a container under the drip, poke a small hole in any bulging ceiling paint (it keeps the whole thing from letting go), and call us. Storm and leak calls get a rapid response, and because our tarp crew is local we can usually get you covered fast.

Documentation

Documented the right way.

Good decisions start with good information. We document the condition of your roof thoroughly, with photos and an itemized estimate, before we touch a thing, so you have a clear, honest record of what the storm did.

  • Date-stamped photos. Full photo documentation and moisture readings, taken before we touch anything.
  • Itemized estimates. Clear line items in plain language, so you can see exactly what the work involves, with nothing buried under “miscellaneous.”
  • A close photo record. Up-close documentation of every crease, bruise, and lifted shingle, ridge to gutters.
  • Code-required detail. We note the Florida Building Code items your roof needs, in writing, as part of the estimate.
  • And the line we won’t cross: we don’t waive deductibles, pad estimates, or chase claims. That is not how we work. We document honestly and let the facts speak for themselves.

Know your enemy

What the weather actually does up there.

01

Wind

Creased tabs and lifted ridge caps, invisible from the driveway, an open door for the next rain. Hurricane gusts do it in seconds.

02

Hail

Bruises the mat under the granules. The roof looks fine, then it fails a couple seasons later. Close-up drone shots catch it now.

03

Wind-driven rain

A storm forces water sideways, up and under shingles and tile, then it soaks the deck and the attic below. Tarp first, dry it out, document all of it.

04

Debris

One branch, one puncture, one wet attic. Tarp first, photograph second. Clear documentation means everyone can see exactly what happened.

Quick answers

Storm questions.

Get the roof tarped and inspected first. Mitigation can’t wait, and a documented professional inspection gives you a clear, factual record of the condition of your roof. What you do with that record, including whether and when to contact your insurance company, is entirely your decision, and we’ll tell you honestly if the damage looks minor.

Yes. We provide clear photos and an itemized estimate of what we find, so you have the information you need. If your insurance company requests documentation related to our inspection or our work, we’re glad to provide it. Any decision about a claim is between you and your insurer, and financing is available if you need it.

Maybe! But storm-chasing crews that follow the weather across state lines won’t be here when the warranty matters. Get their opinion in writing, then get ours free. We’re family owned, local, and Florida State Certified (FL Lic. CCC0000000), and we’ll still be here long after the storm passes.
